FERME DU HALLEUX

La Ferme du Halleux is a bio farm in Comblain-au-Pont, in the Belgian Ardennes area, positioned as a place where agriculture, biodiversity, and environmental education come together. The site is described as being in transition toward a participatory agro-ecological farm, with a strong emphasis on landscape quality, nature conservation, and public awareness. The farm operates on a large natural setting with bio arable land, woodland, meadows, and conservation orchards. Beyond farming, it also welcomes groups and nature-oriented visitors, using its renovated former stable and outdoor spaces to host camps, educational stays, and low-impact activities. Key Offerings Organic field crops : The farm manages around 20 hectares of organic large-scale crops, forming the agricultural base of the site. Conservation orchards : Two conservation orchards and around fifty high-stem fruit trees, mainly apple and pear trees, support biodiversity and seasonal fruit-related activities. Group accommodation in the former stable : The renovated stable can host groups of roughly 40 to 45 people, with basic facilities for camps, youth groups, and nature-focused stays. Prairie camp space : A separate meadow area is available for groups, with water, electricity, fire-pit areas, dry toilets, and access to nearby support facilities. Holiday gîte : A renovated house in the farmyard is offered as a quiet rural gîte for up to 8 guests, with comfortable rooms and private outdoor space.
