NoPalm Ingredients

Founded in 2021, NoPalm Ingredients is on a mission to provide companies and product manufacturers around the globe work with a sustainable, circular alternative to palm oil and other vegetable oils. We our currently demonstrating that our fermentations to produce oils from yeast our scalable to 100L+-scale, that the oil produced is affordable and that this fermentation process works on various locally available sidestreams. Our product is non-GMO, and much more sustainable than palm oil and even more than other vegetable oils (15-fold lower C-footprint than palm oil). In 2021 and 2022 NoPalm Ingredients won several awards (FI Global Innovation award, Foodtech Start-up Challenge and the Rabobank Innovation Award) and has been featured in several news items (NPO Radio 1, NRC, FD) and trade journals. NoPalm Ingredients will start raising for its next round of financing in November 2022 to expand its R&D facilities and to build its own pilot-plant and (small) demonstration factory.
