Under the brand Meat-You-Halfway, Olijck Foods is launching a range of hybrid meat products in which part of the meat (from 30% to 60%) is replaced by the tastiest vegetables including seaweed. The range now includes burgers, finches, meatballs, (smoked) sausages, hot dogs, cold cuts and even carpaccio. Replacing meat results in lower CO2 emissions, less consumption of fresh water and use of agricultural land. Adding vegetables provides more fibre, proteins, minerals and vitamins. In short, more with less meat!
