Groenpact is a Dutch network organization that connects education and knowledge institutions, industry, civil society, and government to work on major societal challenges in the green domain, such as food security, climate change, biodiversity loss, nature restoration, and a healthy living environment. It positions itself as a place where questions, ideas, and solutions come together, with more than 80 partners learning, working, and innovating in the green sector. The network is built around a strong foundation that includes platform vmbo groen, CIV Groen, CoE Groen, Wageningen University & Research, and Groen Kennisnet. Through this ecosystem, Groenpact helps make new knowledge and innovations broadly available in both the workplace and education. It also strengthens regional cooperation and international connection by sharing knowledge and collaborating with partners in Europe and beyond. Groenpact works in a demand-driven and result-oriented way, aiming for sustainable change and a future-proof world for people, plants, and animals. Its bureau supports the network, organizes encounters, connects partners, and encourages concrete action. Working through changing coalitions, Groenpact focuses on four main themes: better alignment between learning and the labor market, future-proof and sustainable entrepreneurship, new technology that supports meaningful work and craftsmanship, and green leadership and future design. The organization brings together a diverse team and governance structure. At strategic and managerial level, partners from business, civil society, and government are represented in a governance team. At executive level, a core team handles overall coordination, communication and support, practice-oriented research and knowledge transfer, and acceleration programs. Groenpact presents itself as a connector, enabler, and accelerator that helps the green sector build practical, innovative solutions together.
