StartLife is Europe's longest-running and leading agrifoodtech accelerator, co-founded by Wageningen University & Research. Since 2010, it has supported over 400 startups globally that focus on technological innovations in foodtech and agtech, with a mission to accelerate agrifoodtech startups shaping a sustainable food system. The organization emphasizes the importance of developing agriculture technologies that enhance crop yields, improve health and nutrition, and promote environmental sustainability to address global food supply challenges. StartLife believes that startups are crucial for driving the necessary agrifoodtech innovations to meet future food demand. The team consists of passionate startup and agrifood professionals, many with academic or business backgrounds in food and agriculture, some being former startup founders or from farming backgrounds.
