EntoBreed is an agritech start-up that sustainably breeds and processes mealworms. We produce functional ingredients and semifinished products with a tiny footprint. Our fiber, oil and protein- rich ingredients are available for use in a wide variety of both wet and dry food applications. As mealworm breeder and processor, we strive to do so with a minimal impact on our environment. The feed for our mealworms is provided by residual flows from the food industry. The breeding cells equipped smartly to ensure minimal energy usage. The insect dung left behind after the breeding process is sold as a substitute for fertilizer.
