CliMates is a youth-led association founded in Paris in 2011 that focuses on tackling climate change through awareness, research, and advocacy. It unites young students and professionals to raise awareness about climate issues, social justice, and the protection of living beings in engaging ways. The association operates under three main pillars: developing simulation games and workshops, producing documentaries, and creating educational materials on relevant topics such as gender issues. It also participates in international conferences and hosts an annual festival. CliMates has been involved in advocacy efforts, including presenting youth proposals at international negotiations like COP 28, emphasizing the importance of the climate generation in combating climate change and promoting social justice.
