About Réseau de soutien à l'agriculture paysanne (RéSAP)
The Réseau de Soutien à l’Agriculture Paysanne (ReSAP) is an informal network of associations, NGOs, and farmers’ organizations in Belgium. It exists to support peasant agriculture and food sovereignty through collective actions, mobilizations, and advocacy.
The network positions itself as a complement to organizations that do policy advocacy or build alternatives for food-system transition. It works to keep peasant agriculture and food sovereignty on the political and media agenda, in Belgium and beyond, while backing the demands of groups such as FUGEA, MAP, and Via Campesina.
