Luttes paysannes is the public-facing platform of the Réseau de Soutien à l’Agriculture Paysanne (ReSAP), an informal network of associations, NGOs, and farmers’ organizations in Belgium. It exists to support peasant agriculture and food sovereignty through collective actions, mobilizations, and awareness-raising. The network positions itself as an ally of peasant organizations such as FUGEA, MAP, and Via Campesina, while also working alongside broader civil-society groups active in advocacy and food-system transition. Its focus is both local and international: it links Belgian struggles over land, farming, and food policy with the wider global movement for food sovereignty. ReSAP is especially visible through recurring mobilizations around the International Day of Peasant Struggles on 17 April, as well as other actions on issues such as land access, agro-industry, trade agreements, and climate-related food-system change.
