The agricultural sector is increasingly paying attention to the wishes of society in areas such as animal welfare, hygiene, fertilizers, healthy and safe food, working conditions and landscape management. In order to function properly, agricultural entrepreneurs must be aware of their social position. They must respond to what society demands of them, but on the other hand, society must also understand what moves them. Limburgse Land- en Tuinbouwbond- Belangenbehartiging (LLTB) takes a position at the intersection between the entrepreneur and society. The association supports members in good entrepreneurship and is at the same time an authoritative party that continues to emphasize and substantiate the general social importance of Limburg agriculture and horticulture. The LLTB focuses on four themes: Food & health Climate & energy Countryside & surroundings Entrepreneurship On each of these playing fields, the entrepreneur is expected to perform in exchange for which he is given the space to do business. The LLTB supports him in this, makes his achievements visible to society and can also mobilize understanding for the position of the sector or the individual entrepreneur. The LLTB stands up for good agricultural entrepreneurship. After all, farmers and gardeners keep Limburg healthy!
