FoodRetail Catalonia Clúster

FoodRetail Catalonia Clúster is a sectoral association that brings together more than eighty companies and institutions across Catalonia’s agri-food and retail value chain. Its role is to connect primary producers, food and beverage manufacturers, distributors, retailers, consultancies, engineering firms, research centres, universities, and other knowledge and support entities so they can collaborate on shared challenges and opportunities. The cluster’s mission is to foster sustainable growth and strengthen the positioning and competitiveness of Catalan agri-food companies through innovation, networking, collaboration, and the creation of new opportunities. Its vision is to become a benchmark for the agri-food and retail distribution sector in Catalonia, helping the sector stand out through competitiveness, quality, and excellence. FoodRetail Catalonia Clúster also emphasizes a values-driven approach built on trust, teamwork, empathy, know-how, ethics, and commitment. It is recognised by ACCIÓ’s Catalonia Clúster programme, holds the Bronze Label of Cluster Management Excellence, and is part of both the clusters.cat network and the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. The organisation is structured around a General Assembly and a Board of Directors, and it is supported by a professional team that manages cluster coordination, collaborative projects, and communications. Among its services and activities are projects, events, training, working groups, job opportunities, grants, and sector-wide knowledge sharing aimed at driving innovation and long-term sector development.
