L’Accueil Mosan is a Namur-based non-profit association that has been active in the support and housing of adults with disabilities for more than 30 years. It brings together several complementary services, including residential living, supervised apartments, individualized accompaniment, and respite care, so that people can find the level of support that best matches their life project and evolving needs. The organization presents itself as a human-scale, family-like service provider focused on respect, participation, responsibility, and innovation. Its approach is built around helping each person develop autonomy, maintain abilities, and take part in social life as fully as possible, while adapting support over time when needs change. Key Offerings Residential accommodation : The organization offers several living arrangements for adults with disabilities, including small-scale residences and more intensive residential support. These settings are designed to provide a safe, structured, and family-like environment. Individual accompaniment : Ren’Fort provides personalized support based on the person’s request and life project, helping with daily organization, budgeting, administration, housing orientation, and social or professional guidance. Supervised apartments : The supervised-apartment service supports adults, generally aged 18 to 35, in a transitional living environment where they can learn the skills needed for more autonomous living. Collective and community activities : The organization also runs group activities and community-based initiatives that support social participation, learning, and inclusion. Respite residential care : A planned respite service will offer short stays for people with disabilities and temporary relief for family caregivers. Unique Aspects Long-standing local presence : The association has been rooted in the Namur area for decades, with origins going back to 1963 and formal ASBL creation in 1991. A modular service model : Beneficiaries can move between different forms of support within the organization as their project of life evolves, which allows care to be adjusted over time. Human-scale living environments : Its residences and apartments are intentionally small and family-like, with an emphasis on safety, comfort, and individualized support. Planned respite expansion : The organization is developing a 10-place residential respite service for 2026, aimed at supporting both people with disabilities and their family caregivers. Community-oriented initiatives : Beyond care services, the association also promotes inclusion through collective activities and local events, including community and fundraising initiatives.
