Our Mission Our mission is twofold: Collaborate with Local Fishermen : We work closely with local fishermen who operate responsibly, ensuring that our fish is caught using sustainable methods. Offer Seasonal Fish : By providing seasonal fish, we help maintain the natural balance of marine ecosystems and keep the distance between catch and plate as short as possible. The Fish Box The DEVISMAN Fish Box contains four portions of fresh North Sea or IJsselmeer fish, suitable for two or four people, to be divided over four days of your choice. Each box is a surprise, based on the best catch of the moment. Always delivered fresh with the option to freeze, so you always have access to quality fish when it suits you. Ready to cook and vacuum-packed, with exclusive and surprising recipes. Our Fish Selection We offer a variety of fish from the North Sea and IJsselmeer, including: Sole : Delicate and buttery taste, perfect for refined dishes. Weever : Firm texture with a refined taste, similar to sole fillet. Red Gurnard : The robust, slightly sweet fish, excellent for stew dishes. Plaice : Mild in taste, similar to sole but slightly more delicate and refined. Pout : Mild, light flavor, ideal for simple preparations such as baking or poaching. Gilt-head Bream : Golden-colored fish with firm flesh, perfect for grilling and baking. Sunfish : White, firm flesh with a mild taste, similar to cod. Turbot : Rich in flavor and firm, ideal for gastronomic creations. Pike-perch : Tender, white fish flesh with a mild flavor, perfect for simple preparation. How It Works Choose Your Fish Box : Currently, we offer a fish box for 2/3 people or 4/5 people. In the fish box, you will find four types of fresh fish per person. Enough for four meals. Fresh and Ready to Cook : We buy the fish directly from the fishermen, but only after your order. We carefully select based on quality and catch method. After processing, immediately packed and shipped. Home Delivery & Suitable Recipes : On Wednesdays, we deliver the fish box to your home between 8:00 and 21:00 hours. We also send inspiration for suitable recipes. That's fish convenience! Local & Sustainable DEVISMAN swims against the current! Our partners minimize their ecological fin footprint, from boat to plate. We only fish locally and focus on species with a future.
