It provides an activating platform that showcases relevant Agri & Food initiatives, developments, projects, and stakeholders. The company has created an app that connects the hospitality industry, supermarkets, and consumers with local farmers, facilitating the purchase of nearby food and shortening the supply chain. Voedsel Verbindt aims to enhance sustainability in the food system by linking businesses, governments, educational institutions, and lobbyists, ensuring that locally produced food reaches residents in the most sustainable manner. They focus on six themes for sustainability improvement in the food system.
