About Hotelschool The Hague

Hotelschool The Hague (HTH) is a prestigious hospitality management school founded in 1929, offering programs such as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel Management and a Master of Business Administration in International Hospitality Management. As a key institution in hospitality education and research, HTH aims to develop leaders who drive positive societal and environmental impacts within the industry. It serves as a hub for industry insights and skills, maintaining a strong connection with hospitality professionals. The school offers a four-year bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, a fast-track bachelor program, and a 13-month MBA in international hospitality management, as well as a master’s degree in Leading Hotel Transformation. Over the years, HTH has expanded while remaining true to its original mission. HTH is governed by a board that includes a Co-determination Council (CDC), formed in 2019 to enhance decision-making by involving student and employee representatives. This council provides advice on organizational matters, including curriculum renewal and facilities improvement. The school has committees ensuring educational quality, including an Exam Committee for academic assessments and a Curriculum Committee for maintaining curriculum standards. The Education Committee, made up of elected students and staff, advises the Board of Directors on course and exam regulations. HTH also benefits from the guidance of the Industry Advisory Board (IAB), composed of distinguished leaders who provide independent advice. In adherence to the governance code established by the HBO Council, HTH is committed to good governance practices. The institution publishes annual reports detailing its activities and developments.
