The Aegean Regen4Crops Initiative aims to accelerate the transition of key specialty crops in the Aegean Region—grapes, olives, tomatoes, and figs—toward scalable regenerative agriculture systems. These high-value crops underpin regional livelihoods and export markets but face increasing vulnerability due to soil degradation, water scarcity, climate variability, and rising pressure for sustainable production. The initiative seeks to demonstrate how regenerative practices can simultaneously enhance farm profitability, environmental resilience, and value chain competitiveness.
