De Kortenhof

De Kortenhof is a monumental herenboerderij located in the Betuwe, surrounded by fertile fields and orchards, providing a peaceful and inspiring environment for meetings. Centrally positioned between Utrecht, Den Bosch, and Arnhem, and near the A15 and A2 motorways, it is easily accessible with free parking available. The venue features two meeting spaces: the authentic meeting room De Oude Deel (accommodating 8 to 40 people) and an outdoor canopy at the Paddenpoel (for up to 8 people), equipped with a wood-burning stove and private toilet for breakout sessions. De Kortenhof emphasizes the use of local and regional products in its catering options, offering arrangements such as coffee/tea, lunch buffets, homemade soups, pizzas, BBQs, and private dinners. Guests can learn about the farm's sustainability practices and agricultural management through guided tours of the fields, which are often well-received. The farm, a national monument dating back to around 1830, is run by a family that has been farming for five generations. They grow rapeseed, processing it into oil through a cooperative called Colzaco. Visitors can conclude meetings with a gift of rapeseed oil upon request. De Kortenhof is noted for its hospitality, regularly receiving positive reviews, and was nominated as one of the most special meeting locations in 2015. The property is managed by hostess Jolijn Zwart-van Kessel, who can be contacted via phone or email for inquiries.
