De Zeeuwse Quinoa Keten (project)

The so-called "protein transition" is high up on the agenda of Zeeland's food sector. This brings with it new opportunities, including the development of a chain for the relatively new crop quinoa as a meat substitute. The objective of this project is to develop, test and validate innovative quinoa growing, processing, texturing and product concepts. In doing so, this demonstration project aims to show how integral cooperation and coordination in the food producing chain of quinoa products leads to practical knowledge development that can be converted into economic value for Zeeland and for all links in that chain.
