Pôle circuit court is a Walloon network of local food hubs designed to make sustainable, high-quality food easier to access for B2B buyers. It serves public-sector kitchens, schools, hospitals, care homes, restaurants, shops, and other professional buyers by bringing together producers, processors, logistics, and distribution services around short supply chains.

The project is rooted in the social economy and is built around cooperation between autonomous local hubs in Charleroi, Liège, Luxembourg, Namur, and Gembloux | Brabant wallon. Across these hubs, the offer combines fresh produce, processed foods, and practical services such as ordering platforms, logistics, transformation, and distribution, with an emphasis on local sourcing, transparency, and fair returns for producers.

Unique Aspects

• Multi-hub structure: The project operates through five distinct hubs, each adapted to its territory and local ecosystem, while sharing a common charter and mission.
• Integrated B2B services: Beyond products, the network offers practical services such as professional ordering, logistics, vegetable processing, canning, jar washing, and distribution.
• Strong cooperative base: Several hubs are anchored by cooperatives such as Circuit Paysans, Terra Alter, Paysans-Artisans, Mabio, and Agricovert, reinforcing the social-economy model.
• Public support and territorial role: The hubs are supported by Wallonia and the European recovery framework, and they are positioned as infrastructure for local food-system transition.
• Measured scale in some hubs: The site reports concrete operational scale in certain locations, such as 170 producers and artisan-processors in Namur, 120 professional buyers in Luxembourg, and more than 100 B2B orders per week in Namur.
