Bioeconomy For Change (B4C) is a French bioeconomy network and cluster that brings together more than 480 members across the value chain, from agricultural upstream activities to finished products. It works with companies, start-ups, research organizations, public bodies, investors, and other ecosystem actors to accelerate innovation and industrial deployment in bio-based sectors. B4C positions itself as a reference network for the bioeconomy in France, Europe, and internationally. Its mission is to help members turn biomass and renewable resources into value-added solutions for food and feed, bio-based molecules, materials, and bioenergy, while supporting sustainable growth, competitiveness, and territorial development. European project expertise : B4C reports having supported 73 European projects since 2015, including 19 BBI-CBE JU projects and 7 flagship industrial units. Dedicated digital tools : It operates several sector tools and platforms, including Tremplin for international bioeconomy monitoring, XploreBIO for matchmaking, Agrobiobase for biosourced products, and Building Blocks for sustainable alternatives to petro-sourced building blocks.
