Since the establishment of our company in 2002, we have been breeding high quality grasshoppers (Locusta migratoria). Quality that our customers count on and that we are proud of and work hard on every day! Initially we concentrated on breeding grasshoppers for pet food, but for some time we have also been active in the market with our products for human consumption. In 2007, in cooperation with Wageningen University, we started the research and development and for the promotion of this, for the Netherlands, relatively new product we united with a number of colleagues in BUGS Original Food. In 2006 we moved to a larger location on the Kerkendijk in Someren and can proudly call ourselves one of the largest producers in the Netherlands. Our products are sold exclusively through specialized pet shops or wholesalers.
