Founded in 2022, Upcycling Solutions' mission is to help companies make the most of their waste by turning it into new products and profiting from it. Upcycling Solutions was founded under the innovative vision of Natasha Monteiro de Pádua, COO, who brought a transformative approach to sustainability, combined with the vast management experience of Bruno Monteiro, CEO, whose solid leadership has been fundamental to the company's success in the market. Our mission We promote circularity by undoing the knot between the agro-industry that discards its production waste and the industry that seeks upcycled inputs, reducing the consumption of virgin raw materials. We bring the market intelligence and connections for the generator to process it (internally or externally) and market it, introducing desired inputs to the market, reducing its waste emissions and food waste, becoming more efficient and profitable. Our purpose The FAO estimates that 30-40% of all food production is lost before it reaches the market. Upcycling Solutions acts at this stage, bringing upcycling solutions to the food agro-industry to process and transform what is now waste into inputs of interest to various industries such as food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, for example. Our waste of interest is the unavoidable waste inherent in food production, such as peelings, stalks, pomace, dregs, stones and leaves, among others. Our commitment The environmental impact comes from reducing the emission of agro-industrial waste and greenhouse gases by reducing the use of virgin raw materials, promoting an increase in food diversity and nutritional intake through the use of parts that were previously neglected.
